GREENSBURG - With rivals Batesville and Rushville in the pool on Tuesday, Greensburg had a big night with 15 new personal best times including a new school record by Ann Weigel.

Weigel won the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:46.31, bettering the old mark by nearly two seconds (5:48.10).

Greensburg won the boys team title with 133 followed closely by Batesville with 128 and Rushville 50.

For the girls, it was Batesville escaping with the victory. The Lady Bulldogs finished with 118 followed by Greensburg 116 and Rushville 75.

On the night, the Pirates won 15 event titles.

The girls 200 medley relay team of Weigel, Emily Oesterling, Sabrina Smiley and Milesha Stigger won in 2:05.38. The same team won the 400 freestyle relay in 4:16.54.

The Pirates 200 medley relay team of Jay Myers, Adam Stewart, George Myers and Cory Banaschak won in 1:55.70 and that team returned to win the 400 freestyle relay in 3:46.70.

Jay Myers won the 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke.

Weigel also won the 200 individual medley.

Stewart won the 200 IM and the 100 freestyle with a new personal best time of :53.26.

Stigger took first in the 50 freestyle and had a personal best time of 1:21 in the 100 backstroke.

In diving, Greensburg swept with Heather Thomas winning the girls competition and Logan Brown the boys. Brown also has a new best time of :27.98 in the 50 freestyle.

Smiley won the 100 butterfly and had a new best time of 2:12 in the 200 freestyle.

Oesterling won the 100 breaststroke with a new best time of 1:18 and also had a new personal best time of 1:07 in the 100 freestyle.

Other personal best times included Ben Fischer in the 200 IM (2:33) and the 100 breaststroke (1:18); George Myers in the 50 freestyle (:24.02); Banaschak in the 100 butter fly (by six seconds, 1:06) and the 500 freestyle (by 15 seconds, 6:27); Jordan Moore in the 100 freestyle (1:10); Mollye Leas in the 500 freestyle (by 20 seconds, 7:22); Hannah Barnes-Israel in the 100 breaststroke (by eight seconds, 1:44); and Garrett Garwood in the 100 breaststroke (1:33).
