Program Services

One to One Matches: A Big Brother or Big Sister or Senior is matched with a child whom they spend quality time together giving support and encouragement to overcome obstacles and helping them to reach their potential.

Big Couples: A husband and wife are matched with one child and spend time together within and outside the community.

AIM: Adult volunteers meet with their “Match,” at the child’s school.  They have lunch with their Little, help with homework, read together or just listen to the days events.

High Five & Jr. High Five: High School & Jr. High School students are matched with an Elementary student one day a week during their study hall time period.  High school & Jr. High School students are a friend, offer encouragement to the Little, and help with school work, and special projects.

High School Bigs: High school students have a lot to offer as mentors; energy, enthusiasm, creativity and more.  Younger students look up to and admire high school students.  Matches enjoy school functions, working on homework together, attending movies and having pizza afterwards.

College Bigs: This program provides one-to-one friendship during the summer months-June, July, and August.  The college mentor is the child’s main resource and friend throughout the summer months.

Trailblazers:  This program matches children with a specific need/interest with partners.  This program allows for much individualization and is usually short in duration.  Businesses can become Trailblazers by providing a service/product to children in this program.
