Great American Smoke-Out
Restaurant Sit-in

Students from the SADD club gathered at Storie's Restaurant for a sit-in in support of Great American Smoke-Out. Great America Smoke-Out is a day where smokers are encouraged to quit for at least one day, and hopefully for a lifetime. In an effort to raise awareness about smoking and to encourage people to quit smoking the students organized some activities. The sit-in was one of these activities.
While at Storie's the students enjoyed delicious food while taking up at least a third of the restaurant's seating which meant that these seats were unavailable to smokers. To let Stories know that we LOVE their food and service, but don't like inhaling cigarette smoke while we eat we left short notes on our receipts like the one above.
